Bharat ka gross GST collection August 2026 mein saalana aadhaar par 14.8% badhkar ₹1,99,853 crore pahunch gaya. August 2025 mein yahi collection ₹1,74,116 crore tha. Is tarah August mein GST collection lagbhag ₹2 lakh crore ke star par bana raha.
Yeh lagataar teesra mahina hai jab GST collection mein double-digit saalana badhotri dekhi gayi hai. June mein collection growth 13.9% aur July mein 15.4% rahi thi. July 2026 mein gross GST collection ₹2,11,205 crore tha, isliye August ka collection mahine-dar-mahine kuchh kam raha, lekin pichhle saal ke mukable growth mazboot bani rahi.
Import Revenue ne Growth ko diya bada support
August ke collection mein sabse khaas baat import se judi GST revenue growth rahi. Import GST revenue 29% badhkar ₹62,604 crore ho gaya, jabki August 2025 mein yeh ₹48,546 crore tha.
Iske mukable domestic GST revenue 9.3% badhkar ₹1,37,249 crore raha. August 2025 mein domestic GST revenue ₹1,25,570 crore tha.
Is data se pata chalta hai ki August ke overall GST collection ko import-related revenue ne khaasa support diya, jabki domestic revenue mein bhi lagataar growth bani rahi.
Refund badhne se Net Collection ki growth hui kam
Gross GST numbers mazboot rahe, lekin refunds mein bahut tez badhotri hui. August 2026 mein total GST refunds 67.9% badhkar ₹31,795 crore ho gaye. August 2025 mein total refunds ₹18,935 crore the.
Domestic refunds 72.6% badhkar ₹18,490 crore rahe. Export GST refunds jo ICEGATE ke madhyam se process hue, unmein bhi 61.8% ki badhotri hui aur yeh ₹13,305 crore rahe.
Refunds ko adjust karne ke baad August 2026 ka net GST revenue ₹1,68,057 crore raha. Yeh August 2025 ke ₹1,55,181 crore se 8.3% adhik hai.
Yani gross collection mein 14.8% ki growth ke mukable net collection ki growth 8.3% rahi. Is antar ka mukhya kaaran refund payouts mein tez badhotri hai.
April se August tak GST Collection mein 11% Growth
Financial year 2026-27 ke pehle paanch mahino, April se August ke dauran, gross GST collection ₹10,42,757 crore raha. Yeh pichhle saal ki isi avadhi ke ₹9,39,724 crore se 11% adhik hai.
Isi avadhi mein net GST revenue 9% badhkar ₹8,89,523 crore raha, jo pichhle saal ₹8,15,939 crore tha.
Import-related gross GST revenue April-August avadhi mein 27.3% badhkar ₹3,06,387 crore raha, jabki domestic gross GST revenue mein 5.3% ki badhotri hui.
Bade rajyon mein kaisa raha Collection
August 2026 mein kai bade rajyon ne domestic GST revenue mein achhi growth dikhayi.
Uttar Pradesh mein domestic GST revenue 19% badha. Telangana mein 16%, Gujarat mein 15%, Karnataka aur Kerala mein 13-13%, jabki Haryana aur Punjab mein 12-12% ki growth darj hui.
Maharashtra, jo desh ke sabse bade GST contributors mein hai, ka collection 8% badhkar ₹28,779 crore raha.
Tamil Nadu mein collection 1% ghata. Odisha aur Andhra Pradesh mein 7-7% ki girawat dekhi gayi, jabki Rajasthan aur Goa mein 2-2% ki kami rahi.
Assam mein collection mein 162% ki bahut tez badhotri darj hui.
August ke GST Data ka kya matlab hai?
August ke figures se ek mixed picture saamne aati hai. Ek taraf gross GST collection lagataar teesre mahine double-digit growth ke saath lagbhag ₹2 lakh crore ke star par raha. Doosri taraf refunds mein lagbhag 68% ki tez badhotri ke kaaran net collection ki growth kaafi kam rahi.
Import-related revenue ka 29% growth bhi overall collection ko support kar raha hai. Isliye sirf gross GST number ko dekhne ke bajay domestic revenue, import revenue aur refunds ke trend ko saath mein dekhna zyada mahatvapurn hai.
Aane wale mahino mein domestic GST growth aur refund trend yeh batayenge ki tax revenue ki underlying strength kitni mazboot bani hui hai.
Aage kya dekhna hoga?
GST collection ka trend ab Bharat ki economic activity ke liye ek important indicator bana hua hai. August mein gross collection ka ₹2 lakh crore ke kareeb rehna revenue momentum ko darshata hai, lekin refunds ka tez badhna ek aisa factor hai jise aage bhi closely dekhna hoga.
GST Council ki 57th meeting 12 September 2026 ko New Delhi mein scheduled hai. Is meeting se pehle August ke revenue figures tax administration aur GST system se jude discussions ke liye bhi important background provide karte hain.
